  • Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Mother!

I am a day late because of my 13 hour shift of work yesterday :(, but a HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beautiful, selfless mother!

My brothers and I are more than lucky to have this woman as our mom. She is one of the most generous and selfless women I know! I may be a bit bias, but she is a game changer in this world pursuing Jesus first and loving others during that pursuit.

She walks out her faith, and in doing that, she thinks of herself less and Jesus and others more!

She was made to be a mom. She nurtures and cares for us so well because of her selflessness, and she still does so even now that we are grown.

As a nurse, I attribute most of my nurturing abilities to my mom. She would bend over backwards to make sure we were comfortable during the sick moments just as I try to do for my patients.

She has the unique ability to make you feel strong in the weak moments, beautiful in the ugly moments, and confident in the insecure moments.

She pushes you to be your best and helps you in this endeavor! She wants you to succeed and cheers for you during those successes! She instilled confidence in each of us because of her unwavering and unconditional love and support.

She is the greatest mother in the world! I hope she had the greatest day yesterday that was all about her, because 99% of the time it is NOT about her!

Here’s to you mom! Thank YOU! I am forever grateful for you! I hope to be half the mother you are one day! I look up to you so much, and I am so proud to get to say you are my mom! I love you to the stars!

    Love always,

    Katie Girl

Sometimes family pictures were hard for us! 😉

It was also my beautiful Nannie’s birthday yesterday that is pictured here on the right! Happy birthday to you Nannie! I love you so much!
