  • Life Lately: Amy’s Beach Bach Bash

One of my oldest, bestest friends is getting married! It is such a beautiful thing to see how much she shines as the bride-to-be. We celebrated her big this past weekend with a beach weekend in Miramar Beach, Florida. Oh how we were living the LIFE! The place we stayed at might as well have been a Kardashian Mansion with 4 floors, a pool, and porches on each floor. It was right on the water with the beach being our backyard.

When it comes to bachelorette parties, it may start as group of girls that don’t all know each other, but by the end, my experience is that you all become a girl tribe for the bride. It is a beautiful merriment of all of the bride’s friends from all walks of life. When the bride is as fabulous as Amy, you get one sweet, fabulous, beautiful girl tribe!

We went big to celebrate Amy which included heart to hearts, playing volleyball, paddle boarding, swimming/floating in the ocean and the pool, learning how to twerk, meeting new friends, playing all the games, eating the best food, and having deep talks—mainly about the Enneagram. All of which so made my heart happy, especially talking about the Enneagram!

Pictures from the fabulous girlie swirlie beach trip to celebrate our bestie bride-to-be, Amy:

Some of the GIRL SQUAD: we all got matching hats, towels, and gift bag of fun similar trinkets for the weekend!

One night we went to dinner at Surfing Deer, and their food was absolutely amazing! My sister in law and I split their crab cakes and grilled shrimp, and both were fabulous! The rest of the time, Amy’s mother (San) and Amy’s mother’s friend (Cheryl) made our meals. I do not know who was the better chef: Surfing Deer or San and Cheryl! I cannot thank them enough for everything! I wish I had more pictures of the food!

The GIRL SQUAD! This was the day we became best friends with another girl squad next to us on the beach! Those friends knew how to dance, specifically twerk! They offered to teach us dance lessons, and by the end of our time hanging with them, we had a choreographed dance for the dance floor at the wedding reception! 🙂

The beautiful bride to be and one of my dearest friends! She is the only other person I have known my entire life besides family!

This is my beautiful sister in law: Renny! And I couldn’t be more thankful for a first sister in life like her!

We had a bonfire on the beach our last night. I’ve never had a fire on the beach, but it was so peaceful and fun! I highly recommend this as a beach activity!

This was our attempt to show off our twerking moves we learned from our new friends!

It was so special to meet people from all of Amy’s walks of life. They were all so special, and it is a true testament to how wonderful of a person it is we are celebrating! Here’s to you Mrs. Amy Cudmore!

The beach is one fabulous place to be! And this trip was glamorous! The house, the beach, the decor, the matching, the girl squad, and the celebration of our gorgeous, beautiful Amy Girl!

I hope you enjoy the pictures, but as I have said, I am no photographer — no judgements please!

    Love always,

    Katie Girl
